Idaho’s Ballet Sun Valley Festival Is Back With an Expanded Season

Ballet Sun Valley, the annual dance festival in scenic Sun Valley, Idaho, is back in full force with an expanded summer season this year. Held outdoors at the Sun Valley Pavilion, the first part of the festival runs July 12–13 and features dancers from San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, New York City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and The Washington Ballet. Then, BalletX takes the stage August 22–23, making its Ballet Sun Valley debut.

Ballet Sun Valley Bounces Back With In-Person Performances

Ballet Sun Valley is back next week with four nights of live dancing and completely unique programs each evening. The performances will be in person at the iconic open air Sun Valley Pavilion.

Ballet Sun Valley Announces Program Details And Tickets On Sale For 2021 Season

Ballet Sun Valley announces today the program details for its in-person, outdoor performances at the iconic, open-air Sun Valley Pavilion, July 12 & 13 and August 22 & 23.

The two festivals will both include two different performances; four nights of dance with completely unique programs each night. For many of the artists these two Festivals will mark their first return to the stage in front of a live audience in over eighteen months.

The 2021 festivals will showcase dance that spans the spectrum of ballet from modern day favorites to classics from the classical ballet repertoire.

Dancers from prestigious U.S. companies to grace Pavilion stage

Over the years, Ballet Sun Valley has continuously raised the bar for Pavilion performances, and after pirouetting last year to produce a virtual festival, the organization is planning two fully in-person festivals this summer, once again upping the ante.

Rather than just one performance series, this year Ballet Sun Valley is doubling its offerings at the Pavilion with open-air, in-person performances set for July 12-13 and Aug. 22-23.
